    Just wanted to update our original review and say, yep! Food is just as good as always! Our server Jared was amazing and provided stellar service after a truly stressful week. Much needed ambiance, can't recommend enough. Plus, huge shoutout to Manager Josh - the corn dog and shandy pairing? Genius!

    Such a fun experience working through the many options on the menu. Service provided by Devin was detailed and consistent. In fact, from the get go, his welcome gave off authenticity and his guidance prioritized our interests. We almost went for the Happy Hour Omakase ($120 for 2 people, 8 courses), but instead we put our trust in Devin and allowed him to have fun with us and order whatever. He did not let us down. Thank you, Devin! Our favorites: * Cocktail Subarashi * Nigari Sake * Nigari Bluefin Otoro Gunkan * Temaki Spicy Tuna * Cool Tasting Hama Chili * Pork Belly Skewers * Oysters Pro move: HH 4-5:30 $10 cocktails! The host asked us if we were celebrating anything (which we were), and nothing really followed the question. Not that either of us expected anything, just found it weird that there was enough attention to ask, but not enough to act on it.

    I revisited Uchiba as it really is a swanky, sexy setup and I wanted to give them another chance as sometimes the staff can get overwhelmed and with that, service can sometimes lack. I am so glad that we went back because it was a tad brighter, not too loud and crazy and the service we received from Devin was on point. As soon as we were seated, he approached us, inquired if we had ever been to Uchiba, provided the specials for the evening and then offered water and drinks. Our beverage choices of the evening were The Vice, Citrus Old Fashioned, and Subarashi. I am not a fan of old fashioned's, but my friend said it was a refreshing take on the classic old fashioned. However, the Vice and Subarashi were both delish. We started with the shishito peppers as well as the bluefin crudo and just let Devin curate our meal for the rest of the night and we loved it! Their menu is so extensive and due to the fact that we all love surprises, it seemed the best route to go and I highly suggest it. After asking a few questions regarding preferences as well as dietary restrictions, we let Devin loose. I do not recall all of the dishes, but every bite was scrumptious and due to this recent experience, I will be back again!

    Came back to update my review because I was very impressed with how the restaurant group made it right. They offered a new reservation which we accepted and celebrated our anniversary at Uchi. Great service and had no complaints. Thanks for caring about your guests and the experience they have when choosing to dine with you.
